Party on the Plaza Coming to Morris Bicentennial Plaza this Summer!

INDIANAPOLIS (April 24, 2026) – It’s the season of celebrations on Morris Bicentennial Plaza with free parties featuring live music, themed drinks, yard games, photo opportunities and more, starting May 9. 

Visitors can kick back and relax as the plaza, which is located next to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, comes alive with family friendly activities making it an ideal stop for anyone walking or enjoying events around downtown Indianapolis. 
 
“Morris Bicentennial Plaza is a community space for everyone, located right in the heart of our city,” said Pacers Sports & Entertainment EVP & Chief Venues Officer Andy Arnold. “By activating spaces beyond Gainbridge Fieldhouse, we’re creating more opportunities for fans to explore and experience the energy and offerings of downtown Indianapolis.” 
 
The first party will take place 3-6 p.m. on May 9, following the Indiana Fever home opener, with comfortable seating and yard games, including yard pong, corn hole, Connect Four and more. Guests can visit the Snack Shack for bites and beverages, including a specialty drink for the 21+ crowd.
